Our onsite cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) provides a detailed 3-dimensional image of your jaw. This allows for accurate diagnosis and measurements of your jaw bone, with minimal radiation.
Whilst a CBCT is used for many purposes, the most common use is diagnosis and planning for dental implants. Your dentist will look through your CBCT in detail and determine how to get the best outcome for you. Measurements are taken to determine the ideal location of the dental implant whilst keeping you safe by avoiding any major nerves or arteries.
